I was born in Southampton, England, and immigrated to Australia with my family in 1982. I found the transition between the two countries overwhelming and found myself turning to literature and writing to escape the harsh realities of adjusting to a new country and its people. In 2012 my science-fiction book series called 'The Crystal Channelers' was published and featured later that year at the London Book Expo. Prompted by my publishers to generate a blog off my author website, I decided to write each day (except Sunday) in the voice of my major characters from the novels - this led to my research into a number of obscure and supernatural events, people and information due to the abilities of each character. The Oddities e-Club Magazine Newsletter was born late 2012 and became an overnight success garnering over 72,000 subscribers in less than six months. In early 2014 I was approached by the Magloft team to be a beta magazine on their new APP - and the rest as they say is history.
Prior to writing my novels I had a successful career within the IT industry as a Business Analyst and Training Manager which spanned two decades, working for a number of Australia's top 500 companies. In 2008, when my health prompted me to take time out from consulting, I decided it was time to stop talking about writing my novels and to actually do it.
Ten years on, I am now joyfully employed, with three completed novels, two comic book series, a play, a ground-breaking magazine to my name, a world-wide supernatural podcast (previously a Revolution Radio monthly radioshow), all reflecting my love of my adopted country, Australia and the supernatural world we all reside within.
